This is an instant breakfast, full of minerals and vitamins. High in fiber and low in fat, it is also rich in potassium. All you need to make it is a blender. It has many variations, all of them delicious. I use whatever fruits I happen to have available. It is a particularly good recipe made with organic soya milk, since Soya is full of isoflavones to help counter the damaging effects to the reproductive system of petrochemically-derived herbicides and pesticides in our foods and environment. These ubiquitous chemicals screw up the reproductive systems of men and women and result in a great deal of suffering, from PMS to the development of osteoporosis in women, and low sperm count in men. Most important of all, it is delicious - especially in summer with some chopped ice added. |
